The owner is a very cool guy and a pinball wizard. Good rooms in a good location for a good price and extremely helpful staff. Nice bathroom, although it gets a little noisy in the evening. Ask for one of the back rooms.
I loved staying at this hostel. I came in from the airport to the bar/reception area and they were playing Billy Idol and the Cure at the bar and there was a bunch of young local people foosball on the free table. Right away I felt like I would fit in and I ended up staying a week. Theres always local people hanging out at the bar, I met tons of nice people there and yet even though the bar is open until 4am and they have rock and punk concerts in the basement on weekends you don't hear it in the rooms, so I was able to sleep very well when I wasn't in party mode. The facilities are simple but have all your basic needs covered including lockers and AC in the rooms, the price is one of the cheapest in Bucharest, the owner and staff are great and the location is amazing. Its right beside the metro and the old town and frankly staying in the old town means having to listen to super loud club music blaring from the street until 2am or later so you're better off at Wonderland. Not the fanciest place in Bucharest but definitely the coolest!
Comfy room that was nice and warm! Jacuzzi tub in the shared bathroom. Towels were provided for free also. Our highlight was Underworld Bar. Staff were incredible. Definately will be back here again in the future.
